I am a lie

Standard

I am a lie

told by trembling lips,

or an assured pair of eyes

I soothe the one in need and

implode the others who believe-

believe in truth of your lies

I am a lie

a word of hope to condole

that everything will be alright

when things go tough and tight,

hope is what if not a beautiful lie?

I am a lie

a skill taught to survive

the malicious truth

upon people scared to accept

rambling in vaporizing rivers of repent

as we rationalize

I am a lie

I am addictive and it is not a lie

I am loved and nourished

with me living is a lullaby

a true friend to hold

try me once, and

I will never leave your side

Lovers

Standard

Always be a son

Always be a daughter

Wherever we live

Far away from parents;

Doubts ruled out

And lovers?

There will always be lovers

Wherever going, wherever breathing

Find your new specials

Mirage of ‘the special’ ruled out

Announce a new name for your beloved

Love and the lovers we love

Always change

And so the one who loves

Lost and found

Standard

inebriated

the bones shrouded by silence

head discoes to the drum roll

of inner swell that bangs

numbness, this numbness

eyes know not how to blink

shred and scrap from the red roof falls

a heart with a limp is dragged

destruction, destruction

thumps and thuds of caustic silence

the bod swings on a blue tide so high

unleash the eruption within, gush out

deafening disquietude

these cues of un-spelled languages

sear the tongue succumbed to smoky distaste

dry cough of doubt with finesse

welcome, o welcome

leak from a faucet so worn out drips

ticking clock and creak of closing doors

shift of focus relieves

submissive invasion

into nothingness, escape from oneself

everything to find where one would be self

the noise shushed by intruders

sleep now

See me then

Standard

See me when

When I belong to the sky of dusk

Sun-kissed simmering beauty unwraps the stars under twilight

The fierce falls silent in colorful peace painted with a pen

See me then

See me when

When I dream of the dreams you dream

Of graveled shores teased as you tiptoe the layers of the stream

Beneath the oceans I dwell with wrinkly fingers awake to the melody of passing by wren

See me then

See me when

When I am full of truth and you beside

Truth is fought and you accepted, a flower embosomed in this core of coal

The fist of petals unfurls, your stretched hand for me to hold and den

See me then

See me then

To watch me become forever yours

Till then, until we fall hard enough to rise

We wait!
