bars before me
bars before you
and your back towards me
I cannot reach you
you cannot leave me
yet,
we need to escape
this delusion of bond
this helplessness of belonging
this cry of carried away hearts
and,
the soul threaded to the glory of past
we relinquished long back
love evaporated from finest of cracks
emerge out of this attire of attachment !!

At times I feel I must not write sad stuff, but at the same time it feels so light inside as you scribble your sadness onto a paper… Like they say energy never dies, it just transforms…
I hope it makes you light at heart too…
Thank you for stopping by and for your wonderful gesture… β€ β€

Of course, thank you for sharing! I think reading the romance, the passion and always trying to understand a new meaning to it or understand a new side for loss, always helps us write out our own issues and loss. Thank you again for sharing.

This is seriously well written with a lot of hidden pain. My favorite line would be, “Love evaporate through the finest cracks”.

Isn’t it weird for two persons to be near, right in front of eyes but not close anymore. Relationships degrade over time and we try our best to drag them for the sake of beautiful memories we have garnered over time….
And those cracks are of a brittle heart which is not whole anymore but in pieces yet was still filled with love and now it evaporates….
Thank you for your appreciation. Means a lot… β€ β€ β€

Relationships are complicated. We are so engrossed by the idea of love that we often just fall for people because we are in love with that idea of love. Agreed that every relationship degrades over time but only when there is a lack of communication. People often push the difference under the rug rather than discussing it which causes the relationship to fall apart..
We all are broken pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. With cracks and our imperfections. All it takes is that one right piece of love to make as whole again.
And you are most welcome.
Keep writing and keep giving your feelings words. π
Much love β€

βThe souls threaded to the glory of the pastβ immediately had me thinking of stitches.
Stitches initially sewn so tight they gave the illusion of being strong enough to withstand time … until itβs time to βemerge out of this attireβ.
So … now the excruciating unravelling, as the stitches are pulled out. Should they be pulled out quickly or slowly? What hurts more?
This is a really lovely write. Itβs sentimental and relatable.
Well done lady poet. Iβm captured by your eloquent ways.

Such attires are always pulled off slowly… very slowly….. intrinsic pain through your skin into your bones……
What more I could demand of if I have Sweetest D captured into my musings!!!!

In situations like that, there must be a core problem. Do you know what it is?

Hmm… how about communication?
LikeLiked by 1 person
This is the only problem each of us face and never able to get over it….
I personally feel that doesn’t matter how much you get the person to talk to you by asking them so….it doesn’t feel right like the old times….
But yes…nothing stays forever….change is the only constant as they say ..n

I see…
I went through communication issues my whole life with my (now ex) husband. The lack of proper communication arisen problems over problems and finally tears apart.
I learned that men donβt want to be βasked β to talk (unlike us who are always bonding through talking). They need their own space to fix the problem. So something that works is staying silent (no resentful, just silent) and let them come to you .

I am very sorry to know that , Sweetest!
And yes… I cannot agree more…. Silence is preferred though it kills the memories every minute….every second and leaves you as a remainder of time , ash of the fire that was burning at its peak once…..

I think….this happens more when we have the expectations in front of us….or the urge of searching for the ownership….else the relationships with the base of sacredness never give that much of pain…as described….and those are not the cracks…or the shattered heart….it is the heart….developed to love many times more….than the unused one…

“Heart developed to love many more time than the unused one…. ”
Wow…. So beautifully delivered….
And aren’t the expectations have a key role to play in every relationship we hold dear?

‘Your back towards me’. Sometimes letting the other person in that state may bring happiness to them as reaching such state itself is an outcome of a very badly broken heart. One shudnt allow the relationship to break that far, else one is sure to get to see the back of the other, no doubt.
